Rhythms of Life is a homelessness charity which operates in Central London.
We provide sustenance, dignity and opportunity to London’s homeless. Every night of the year, our volunteers distribute meals, clothing and personal hygiene supplies to rough sleepers. We also help rough sleepers rebuild their lives by teaching literacy, numeracy and employability skills.
Andrew Faris, a former rough sleeper, founded Rhythms of Life in 2008. With help from our partners and volunteers, we have fed the homeless every day of the year for eight years. Over 90% of our food is gifted to us; we promote sustainability by collecting surplus food, ensuring these meals are edible, and then distributing them to our service users.
Rhythms of Life also refers rough sleepers facing challenging issues to our partner charities Mind, Crisis and Shelter.
Rhythms of Life is based temporarily on Tower Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 9TY.
